1.Thickener: Silicone oil can increase the viscosity and rheological properties of the coating at low concentrations, making the coating easier to use. In the preparation of paints, silicone oil can serve as a powerful thickener. Due to its good fluidity, it enables the pigments and lubricants to be uniformly dispersed in the liquid, resulting in a better color and texture of the coating. 

2. Anti-stick Agent: Silicone oil also possesses excellent non-stick properties. During the production of coatings, it is often used as an additive to prevent adhesion, thereby preventing problems such as wire drawing or cross-wave in the coating process. 

3. Wetting agent: Silicone oil can effectively reduce the surface tension of the coating when it is applied to the surface, thereby enhancing the wetting property of the coating. The coating can adhere more uniformly to the surface of the object being coated. 

4. Anti-bubble agent: When the coating is being stirred or brushed, foam often occurs, which affects the quality of the coating. Silicone oil can be used as an anti-bubble agent in the coating. Through the action of its surfactants, it can prevent the formation and aggregation of bubbles in the coating.
